Feminization as a BDSM concept has been through many changes in the past decades as our understanding and experiences of gender and sexuality evolve. How do we engage with this practice in a safe, sane and consensual way?
We’ll discuss the importance of communication, consent and respect in Feminization play, while still being able to engage authentically and intentionally with this practice. The evolution of gender roles in different cultural contexts will be explored, examining stereotypes and how it has shaped our triggers and shame responses.
By considering our individual & interactive ethical viewpoints for making informed, responsible and respectful decisions in BDSM power dynamics, we can develop frameworks that will shape authentic and powerful narratives for play that adhere to our principles and best practices.

Mistress Danielle is a independent professional dominatrix and previously worked at the oldest BDSM dungeon in Melbourne. She is passionate about teaching and helping individuals explore their own sexuality in a safe space. Danielle has been on her own kink adventures around the world - she enjoyed her last international tour in 2024 playing in Hong Kong and Thailand, previously performed in the 10th Montreal Fetish weekend in Canada, worked with Serious Bondage in San Francisco and played professionally in London and Canada.
In Australia, she is proud to be working with her fellow Dommes at Coven parties. In 2025, she hosted the spanking station at the biggest queer party in Sydney &Melbourne - Unicorns. She was a panelist at the Demasque Magazine Fetish Forum sharing her thought on Sadism and masochism. Her written work has been featured in Demasque, Red Pocket Press (for queer POC) and Intro Room (SW pride fund raising). In 2023 she performed at Dark Spark, at kink play party ATOMICA, and was one of the finalists for Miss Melbourne Rubber.
Having professional scuba dive-master and rescue diver training has aided her to cultivate prudent BDSM play, which she incorporates into her classes. As a kinky queer poly person of colour, she is devoted to facilitate a space that is shame-free, ethical and playful for all gender expressions. Her other interests are: cats, coffee, and latex bondage.

Our informal ASSFest Opening Night, and a public screening of some of our Erotic Arts Festival Films in case you can't make it to the Immersion Temple Screening. We'll be showing a slightly different selection of international favourites and Antipodean awesomeness, interspersed with chats with local creators.
What to expect: hot, arty, queer and gender diverse experimental short films exploring the insides and edges of human sexuality... There will be a few edges here and a full list of content warnings will be provided.

Are you curious to better understand your fantasies? How about those of a partner? Would you like to be able to predict other things that may also "work" on you? To navigate your heat map to greater thrill and satisfaction?
Anne O Nomis has spent 16 years undertaking fieldwork and lived experience in facilitating people's fantasies and desires. She will take you on an illuminating journey of identifying your own current desires and fantasies, and how these map as a desire pathway or multiple pathways. She will then take you a step further by showing you how she can further predict what other fantasies and desires may also spark current in you, relationally. This will enable you (and a partner - if you have one - or several) to better then communicate and facilitate fantasies and desires to maximise pleasure. There will be opportunity to undertake mini practicum experiments to test and to expand desire awareness, with consensual negotiated play.

Anne O Nomis is an archaeologist, historian and teacher of Dominance studies and Ki power dynamics.
She authored the acclaimed book 'The History & Arts of the Dominatrix', undertaking all the original research in museums, libraries and underground sources, brought together along with the Seven Realm Arts theory of what Dominatrices "do" as their craft specialization. She holds a Masters degree in Comparative Art and Archaeology from UCL (University College London).
She is the only Australian member of the Leather Hall of Fame Committee, alongside scene legends including Bob Miller, Gayle Rubin, Guy Baldwin, Vi Johnson and others. She has taught at DomCon NOLA (New Orleans), Oz Kink Fest, CARAS C2C Los Angeles, given private talks at the Freud Museum London, featured as Dominance expert for Sky TV's Sex: A Bonkers History, and keynote speaker at the Postgraduate UK Society of Aesthetics Conference at Kent University, and has been teaching her Seven Realm Arts certificate course for 9 years.
She teaches according to "Lady of the Largest Heart", open to all genders and sexualities.
Her new work is on Ki power dynamics and how people's responses to power affect their sexual expression, preferences and relationships with others. She undertook primary research questionnaire surveys during Covid-19, revealing distinctions in people's sexual proclivities mapped onto different responses to power.

Drawing upon elements of kink and tantric practice with the rigour of Shibari dojo training as a base, the themes of Von Riga’s Kinbaku are passion, provocation, poetry. Being present to each moment, intuitive in one’s choice of what to tie, and deeply connected to one’s tying partner is key. Thereafter, simply to tie, tie, tie, allow these themes to find fullest expression.
From underground clubs to festival stages, Von Riga can be found curating, teaching and performing rope across the country. Founded in 2022, his school Soul Rope Studios hosts classes at all levels weekly in Naarm (Melbourne, Australia).

Barefoot Juliette is an international Shibari artist and instructor based in Naarm, Australia, who has trained extensively with various Japanese and Australian Shibari teachers since 2020. She is fascinated by the many unique ways Shibari connects people through the medium of rope, in a manner that explores, transcends and challenges our pre-existing notions of what it means to relate with another human being.
Juliette’s love for consensual sadomasochism and energetic communication through rope – always tinged with a touch of the Wild Feminine - shines through in her performances and teachings.

I'm a Chinese Australian woman who is passionate about the wellbeing of the people and the earth. I love facilitating community arts for children and adults and work as a school teacher, expressive arts therapist as well as an artist. Since last year presenting my ecosexual film at Make Love Not War by Erotic Living in Sydney, I have grown more enthusiastic in facilitating sex positive workshops. Fresh from Confest, I can't wait to share this space with you!
MOON
I specialise in enabling and empowering communities and individuals within communities to feel included and socially safe. I do this with parametric architecture, embodiment, and also via teaching workshops and designing games. I am also an artist, my art covers similar topics through linework. I am queer, nonbinary and have fibromyalgia & cptsd. I have spent years dedicated to using meditation in unique healing ways to work through these life topics and have made my own practice around this. Some of my inspirations are contact improvisation, circling (practice), human forest, parametric architecture, cuddle puddles, spontaneous drawing and the Dao, which have all influenced my practice.

Elisa is a relationship counsellor and sex educator. She worked as a professional dominatrix for eight years in both Italy and Australia. Originally from Rome, Elisa co-founded the polyamory community there in 2012 and was actively involved in the local kink scene before relocating to Sydney in 2015. Since then, she has expanded her work into tantra, body awareness, and holistic sexuality practices.
In February 2018, Elisa founded Intimate Horizons, an organisation offering workshops on alternative sexuality, body awareness, and personal growth. Since then, she has been teaching throughout Australia—mainly in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane—as well as internationally in the US (San Francisco and Las Vegas) and Europe (Berlin, Wien, and Rome).
Her passion for shibari led her to join the Peer Rope Melbourne community in 2021, and she took over leadership of the school in 2023, a shibari school with more than 100 classes every year. Elisa is currently studying psychology with the aim of gaining formal qualifications to teach, in the future, consent, boundary setting, and sexuality education to young adults.

This three hour workshop will take you through an experiential exploration of how the nine domains of integration as described by Dan Siegel in the powerhouse interdisciplinary framework of Interpersonal Neurobiology relate to the erotic realm in their own lives. Coming away with a felt sense of this lens of understanding within your own bodymind will equip participants with a new tool to apply to support erotic growth within themselves, their partner’s, their client’s or student’s.
Taught by three of the facilitators of the new Interactive Erotic Education Training, this workshop synthesises knowledge from a range of therapeutic, theoretical and teaching modalities. Lorraine, Jules and Sam are somatic sex educators and somatic therapists with backgrounds in sex work. A core tenet of their teaching practice is that growth happens through relationships - come expecting to interact with the stories and experiences of other attendees. You are, of course, welcome to participate to the extent that feels best for you.
As this workshop invites you to bring personal material and your in the moment experience, feel into what might be useful to bracket, and what feels useful to bring into a workshop space. In any case, prepare to get geeky, cheeky, freaky, and perhaps a bit leaky. All experiences are welcome.

Star W., aka Babydoll / Baby Voodoo, is an erotic artist, producer, and curator with over a decade of creative experience in the 2D and 3D mediums. She is the founder and publisher of Demasque Magazine and currently hosts Erotic Art Club, a community initiative celebrating overt sensuality through creativity.
As an artist, fetish model, performer and former erotic photographer, her work has been seen to be exhibited both locally and internationally, with her expertise seeing her be invited to judge multiple fetish community title competitions across Australia and abroad, as well as to host the interactive educational and entertainment Kink Korner space at Sexpo in 2022 and 2023. Star holds a Bachelor of Design, a Master of Art Curatorship and ‘half a PhD’, with her academic research focused on the display of sexuality in galleries, museums and digital social spaces.

Psyalux is a mixed-media visual artist whose work in recent years has centered on representing and connecting the kink community by exhibiting online and at in-person events. Want to do a deep dive into consent for BDSM? Join Mistress Tokyo for a 4 hour intensive on the Mindful Consent model.
Mindful Consent is a powerful new framework, focusing on embodied consent and what can be understood about consent from the autonomic nervous system. We will define and describe consent, talk through what it looks like and doesn’t look like, and unpack how to negotiate it in a BDSM context. We will also talk red flags and harm minimisation strategies.
Mistress Tokyo will also be presenting an 2 hour introduction to Mindful Consent at the ASSFEST M25 Immersion weekend. This intensive is a deeper dive into the material and an opportunity to immerse yourself in consent before attending the big weekend!

With over 20 years of experience in teaching, coaching, and holding workshops in different settings and contents. She is now focusing on connection, consent, non-verbal communication, pleasure, and understanding the human body and nervous system.
She is originally from Sweden where she got her massage therapist and chemical engineering degree and then pivoted into the European sex-positive space over 7 years ago. With training and facilitating in Europe, Thailand, the US, and Australia.
