The disconnect between mind and body is a mirror to the rupture between society and nature. We are animal beings who have learnt to be ashamed of our flesh, our hungers, our primality.
In this workshop we’ll be connecting with nature, and our own inner nature, with a blend of guided meditations, movement praxis, self touch, eco sex and primal play.
We’ll also have some philosophical chats about the history and ethics of sex - the aim is not to abandon the mind, but to find a space of resonance between flesh & thought.
EVE X
SACRED PRIMAL ARTS
Eve X is a sexuality educator, pleasure activist and erotic artist with a background in academia and a passion for food, sex, knowledge and nature.
Founder of the Australian School of Sexuality and Sacred Primal Arts, Eve has held or hosted hundreds of sex education spaces. She is the curator of the Australian School of Sexuality Festival (ASSFest) and affiliated Erotic Arts Festival.
Eve is an established aerial shibari artist, creating multimodal ritual theatre with life partner Sai Jaiden Lillith as Infernal Desire Machine regularly in Melbourne and Sydney. Eve and Sai are also respected artporn directors, with Canto V films regularly screening at film festivals globally.
Eve lives, creates, and holds events in both Melbourne and Sydney, and is co-owner of A Space in Sydney.
