We (and NZ) are the most decriminalised countries in the world regarding sex work.
We're blessed to be in this position, and to be able to speak from a place
where the realities of decriminalised sex work speak louder than cultural fears.
PORNOGRAPHY
The Australian School of Sexuality takes an integrationist approach to pornography.
We believe that erotic art has existed for most of human history,
and can be a beautiful and powerful way to explore our relationships
with bodies, intimacy, shame, desire and so much more.
Pornography provokes moral and philosophical challenges,
particularly within a gendered and hypercapitalist framework.
We are committed to interrogating the ethics of pornography whilst avoiding shame frameworks,
and to celebrating and supporting great erotic art and artists.
We believe that the best way to achieve positive change in porn culture
is to share the good stuff and the skills to navigate it.
