Offense against modesty is a Chilean erotic-feminist short film created by women and non binary artists. Through image, gesture and sound design, we embody an intimate and subversive imagery, questioning and challenging heteronormativity and patriarchal authority.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR: Orgiástica Productora is the intertwined identity of Valentina Ximena (she/they) and Catalina Sofía (she/they), queer-feminist chilean artists who collaborated from 2017 to 2022 in the realms of performance, ritualistic and somatic practices. Their aim was to share their lived experiences as Latin-American feminized bodies. Through embodying the erotic, they’ve been able to reclaim their bodily autonomy, sovereignty and agency, while also supporting others in doing the same. Their culminating project, the short-film “Ofensa al Pudor” (English: “Offense Against Modesty”), crystallizes six years of their work and exploration of the erotic and eco-queer-feminism.
